No, he didn't throw it and I wouldn't quite say dynamite.

Stevens is a hard puncher. Not like all-time pound-for-pound devastating power up there with Hawk Jackson and the like as some of his fans claim, but among the current middleweight crop he is right up there perhaps behind only GGG himself in raw power.

He is a limited fighter, without the intelligence and chin to match his power and make him a total package - but the power is real.

Furthermore, this was hardly some proven durable prospect/contender. Majewski got his chin exposed by a journeyman a few years back and has been dropped several times before & since. He is a giraffe necked accident waiting to happen whenever he can't hold someone at bay with his long jab...which he can only manage up to a certain level, well shy of world title contention. (which Stevens is just shy of, despite being somewhat of a one-trick pony)

No - Curtis is real dangerous at MW, Golovkin is just very, very good -what you'll see is he simply left Curtis very few opportunities and after the early KD Stevens just didn't want to commit.

There is only a few (a very few) fighters at 160 I'd confidently pick over Stevens.

He analyzed the knockout, narrating it blow for blow watching it on the monitor.

He said Kathy Duva will decide his next move. He wants the world champions, not picky about which ones.

He says he will "melt the chocolate" if the contract gets signed with Kid Chocolate.

GGG walked into some big left hooks in the middle rounds, and he just ate them

Speaking of Stevens ain't Findley fighting someone fairly decent tonight - can't remeber off hand, but I'm sure it was one of the other fights I had an interest in this W/E?
