NBC Sports Fight Night: Gabriel Rosado vs. Sechew Powell RBR

NBC is doing a great job putting excellent fights. ESPN in the other hand needs a huge improvement this year. Congrats to Rosado who keeps on improving and seems like a total different fighter.

 

Never thought much of this before, but....

At the end of the fight someone from Rosado's corner lifts him up grabbing him around the rib cage. I couldn't tell if the look on Rosado's face was emotion or "WTF are you doing axehole, I've just had my ribs pounded for 10 rounds". Not a big thing but just kinda made me wonder. You'd think the corner people would be sensitive to that kinda thing. :think

 

more like Rosado was pounding Powell to the body. Sechew wasn't much of a body snatcher in the fight other than some straight lefts

 

Like I said, I couldn't tell from his expression but it isn't like Powell didn't land any. Just takes one to 'leave an impression'. Just made me think that was kind of a dumb move regardless. Guy could have cracked ribs for all that guy knew. Could have happened in that round. I realize there are emotions and all in play but people around the game should know it is possible the guy is hurting in that area.
