The guy that was whipping Dawson's ass in sparring is also on this card. Untelevised though.

Pulling for rosado. I thought it should have been him vs Canelo.

    Actually, you're wrong.

NBC Sports ran a commercial for this card the other night, during an airing of Rocky (I).

They billed it as a doubleheader with Rosado vs. Whittaker and Kovalev vs. Thompson - so if anything, we actually might not see Cruz vs. Smith televised. :conf

It's slotted as a 2.5 hour broadcast, so my guess is we'll see all three. (and maybe highlights of the undercard)

I think we'll see Cruz vs. Smith, because this is a 2.5 hour show, extended a half hour

Bigger and stronger than Josesito, but not a better fighter.

He deserved the shot more than Ortiz in the first place, to be certain.

Yeah, which means it will spill over into the ShoBox card (11pm-1am) unless we get a timely stoppage or two.

If everything goes the distance, we might end up missing some of Roman Morales vs. Jonathan Arrelano (the 8-round battle of unbeaten prospects that is the ShoBox co-feature)

Probably up first, since they didn't bother including it on the NBC Sports commercial spot earlier this week.

Maybe they promoted Sergey Kovalev vs. Lionell Thompson to co-feature when Antwone Smith failed to make weight (making it non-title)

I'll say hi. Hi, Robney. To get a hi from IB, you must go to the Tomoki Kameda thread. And even then...
