I see what you're saying, but the ref was also saying Lopez was holding Victor's arm...Josesito wasn't holding anything, which it showed after several replays. You could also see in the replay the illegal punch landed solid and with a lot more force, then the referee was letting on. Al Bernstein even said as much in the following replays. It was a legit punch (in that it landed solid and with force) with a decent power on it.

This Thompson guy is way out of his depth, he is show undersized compared to the big guy. I feel sorry for Lionel, he gets straight decked tonight, plus Chad Dawson refused to pay him his $8,000 dollars he eraned for sparring with him for the Ward fight. Just hasn't been his last couple months :-(

 

I can see Kovolov being throughly avoided.

 

Kovalev looks like a beast. He destroyed Thompson.
