    It's good this got demoted; it's a worse fight than Kovalev vs. Thompson in reality.

    Other than getting robbed against a shitty flat version of Cintron, Smith has been stinking up the joint for years now. (and even there, while I felt he was less shitty than Cintron and deserved the nod, he still wasn't not shitty...for those who can follow double negatives...)

    Cruz himself isn't enthralling enough to pull Smith up out of the gutter and make one of his fights exciting.

    Like I said, this probably won't be all that lively or competitive. :verysad

    Neither will the main event, if my gut feeling is right concerning this stuff with Whittaker whining about his purse for contending in an IBF eliminator. If he's publicly moaning about such things he might not be too focused on winning, just shows his mind is occupied with the wrong priorities.


    Now, Kovalev vs. Thompson - that's worth sitting through the rest of the card for. :good
