NBC Sports: Gabriel Rosado vs. Charles Whittaker & Ronald Cruz vs. Antwone Smith RBR

The crowd made it seem Cruz did a lot better than he actually did in reality.

Of those right hands he got through with (and there weren't that many) most were rolled with by Smith and not as meaningful as they may have seemed.

 

Guys, please, ignore the ****ing crowd noise. Apparently the NBC Sports commentary team isn't capable of doing so. :roll:

Smith is moving around the ring, staying off the ropes, shimmying his shoulders in from side to side as Cruz lobs big haymakers at him up top and lands across Smith's back. Big can opener right by Cruz is ducked. Sweeping left hook counters by Smith. Jabs to head and body circling left by Smith. A single left hook by Cruz. Smith circles in close and lands several hooks and uppercuts to the chest.

It's almost like the NBC Sports commentators are trying to lay the foundation to justifying an eventual hometown gift decision.
