    Round 10

Double jab to the face by Smith. Right hand to the kidney by Cruz. Jabs to the belly by Smith, reaching under Cruz's elbows. 1-2 to the body by Smith. Cruz times him with an axing right. A few light scoops to the body by Cruz from mid-range as Smith tries to scoot back and line up straight counters. More body shots by Cruz after a clinch. Cruz falls in atop Smith, flailing wildly and hitting shoulders and back. A rapid combo popped to the body by Smith stepping in and out. "Yah-yah-yah-yacht!" Cruz is pushing out straight arm punches now, getting slipped as Smith leans back and hooks the body. Jabs up top by Smith. They grind together in the middle of the ring and infight, Smith with the shorter and cleaner punches and Cruz just swinging wildly over the top. Nice digs to the body by Smith. Cruz slaps away madly.

    10-9 Smith

    98-92 Smith

Why are Freddie and BJ all over Cruz's wide shots that are completely missing Smith and going around the head?

I really don't think Smith won. Final round was a war. Damn close. Home town. Close fight no matter what IB says.

    95-95.

They're making it sound like Cruz might have pitched a shutout. :!: (when it's closer to the other way around, if anything)

    10-9 Smith.

98-92 Smith. Smith should get a UD but will likely get robbed.

    Horrible commentary.

I think Gabe is still learning, but he would have been a much more dangerous fight than the Lopez fight. If Rosado hit Canelo like Josesito did, Alvarez would be sleeping.

Good for Smith. He has come up the ranks the hard way. Surprised he didn't make weight.
