I went into this fight thinking it was an evenly matched fight between 2 good HWs. Came ou of it thinking that Adamek lost to a 1 armed fighter and made to look bad.

Chambers threw more clean effective punches, clearly showed the better defense and had Adamek in reverse the majority of the fight.

Adamek did some good bodywork, but aside from the occassional flurry, didn't do much to impress against a smaller, physically compromised fighter. Nonetheless, that is not scoring criteria and only the action that unfolds can be scored, there is no handicapping.

Not surprised by the decision as bad decisions have been quite plentiful. Don't think I'd go so far as to call it highway robbery, more like a generous hometown decision. 119-109 for Adamek is a professional humiliation for that judge.

I had this fight 116-112 Chambers.

If there was to be a rematch. I think a healthy Chambers would dominate it.

That makes absolutely no ****ing sense. You either think IB hates white people or that Poles are a race, and both are ridiculous. You're a thin-skinned moron and an embarrassment to white people (though probably not to Poles).

American and feel the same way.

Never a short supply of hypocrites and over the top biased comments on ESB or any sports forum.

Not as glass-brained as Adamek's corner to allow Fat Eddie to box him with one arm tied behind his back.

    I have respect for Bloodworth.

BUT you're right, Adamka should've been able to turn it up against a one armed fighter.

The funny thing is when he tried to do it in one of the rounds, I don't remember which one.. he was countered by the right hand again and again.

Come on, Eddie's not fat anymore. Sure he should be campaigning at cruiser and he has a bit of gynocomastia from being a fat kid, but he's fit now.

I don't understand why some fans have their undies in knots over Chambers losing :-( The fight was close, but no way as bad as the Pac-Bradley decision - and that was a much more high profile fight !

Agree that TA should have performed better, given EC injury.
Chambers slaps and facial mugging will not threaten many top HWs. Eddie at 200+ is not a factor in the HW division. Looking like Adamek isn't either.

Btw, Jennings needs to improve if he's going to be a threat in the HW ranks. Going the distance with someone that slow and with little ability to put punches together, won't get him any wins vs top opposition. You could tell early that Collins KO record was obviously built up vs a bunch of stiffs. Credit to Collins for hanging in there.

Flores was biased with his commentary but had it close on his scorecard. after 9 rounds, didn't he said he had chambers winning 5 rounds, Adamek with 4?

Slapping? Are you seriously complaining about a guy slapping, when he's throwing punches with one arm the entire fight? He had to switch his entire stance between throwing jabs and power punches. And he still managed to pressure and stalk Adamek in the latter rounds after TA gassed. :patsch

It might have happened in the last round if that lowblow wasn't called.

1 Adamek body punch = 4 Chambers back hand slaps.

    Deal with it Shamster.

Adamek's HW resume is already superior to Haye's by any objective measure and he has done this in a much shorter span of time...the Brits just be mad.

It almost certainly would have. Jennings never pushed for the KO, and i think he would have gotten it. He neve had to get out of cruise mode. He looked much better against Liahkovich. Either way, the guy has a ways to go before he starts taking the top contenders.

But I'm going to go out on a limb and say if they match him up with Adamek, he has a real good chance of beating him.
