NBC's "The Event"

dont know anything about it, but i'm assuming it was better than top rank's "the event"

saw the first episode last week and it had enough in it to get me to watch again tonight.......hopefully this doesnt turn out to be a show about aliens like i heard someone say.

 

I thought the first episode was awful. They made it seem like it was going to be like 24, then it turns out to be some sci fi BS. I'll probably watch the second episode, just because I don't like giving up on a show after one episode, especially when I liked the creator's previous show, but it looks like a hot mess.

Boardwalk Empire stomps all over The Event so far.

 

Everybody's looking for the next Lost. This show looks a bit more promising than the godawful Flash Forward.

I didn't get to see it last week but i heard it was good. It looks interesting so far.

The new HBO show, by the guy who wrote The Sopranos and Martin Scorcese, starring Steve Buscemi. About Atlantic City at the beginning of prohibition, so year, it involves the mob quite a bit.

 

Boardwalk Empire shits on it for sure.
