Round 7

Lepikhin is throwing softball pitch uppercuts, holding Junior's right arm trapped under his left when he can to clear a lane. Minimal jabs on the outside from Lepikhin, just pushing the left arm out straight to flypaper Junior's arm, mostly leading with the uppercut. Junior is ducking in, working power shots and prying Lepikhin off to deny the clinch.

Lepikhin is working the 1-2, draping himself atop Junior when done and leaning down on him. Jab and grab by Lepikhin, scoring on the outside and holding inside. Junior isn't getting anything off. Junior tries swimming under the jab and comes up with an overhand right counter on the beak. Lepikhin is blocking the uppercuts of Junior up close and smacks him with a short left hook.

Lepikhin can eke out a draw on my card if he sweeps it the rest of the way. He will need a knockdown to actually deserve the nod, IMO.

Lepikhin is working the 1-1-2, slamming bodily into Junior and roughing him up against the ropes, using some arm scrubs. Junior is pushed down and then beaned with another double jab and right cross, backed up. Lepikhin is stepping wide around Junior, preserving distance and keeping the Brazilian at the end of his straight punches. Junior is timing Lepikhin's jab and shooting in with the overhand right but with limited success, too far out.

Lepikhin scores a long right uppercut lead, and takes a half-step in with a follow-up jab stamped into Junior's frontal lobe. Stiff-arm by Lepikhin. Big hook by Junior coming up off his toes, catching Lepikhin stiff and squared up straight and upright. Lepikhin is clinching now. Lepikhin is working light uppercuts in the clinch. Junior is throwing hard uppercuts on the frontfoot. Lepikhin steps back and makes him miss, then moves in and ties up. Jab and grab tactics by the Russian. Lepikhin is pumping jabs and crosses into the guard, keeping Junior quiet. Uppercuts by Lepikhin. Body shots by Junior, leaning forward with his chin down.
