NBCSN: Amir Mansour vs. Frederick Kassi & Vasiliy Lepikhin vs. Junior Jackson RBR

I hope Mansour and Browne can both stay in the win column long enough to eventually meet. Battle of the high-on-power low-on-skill mean-looking ex-con old-ass heavyweight "prospects". :yep

 

Round 1

Mansour is shooting his right jab on the body. Kassi is countering with his own jab, circling to his right. Kassi turns southpaw and puts out a couple of right jabs off the ropes, with Mansour waiting outside and staring them down. Mansour rushes in with a quick right hook, turning into the punch as Kassi dumps himself into the safety of the ropes.

Round 2

Mansour is tapping out a silent rhythm with the right jab, pantomiming it on the outside as Kassi waits a few paces off. Left on the body by Mansour. Kassi is dropping the jab in on the body and pulling all the way outside, leaning over. Kassi turns southpaw again, sticking a few right jabs while circling. BIG right hooks traded, and Mansour's lands harder. Whipping overhand left from the chest by Mansour, immediately retracting into a ready position, coming forward jabbing from a defensive crouch. Kassi sticks with southpaw, lowering a drawbridge right jab. Kassi starts putting the jab straight out. Mansour whips an overhand left up past it and tags Kassi on the side of the head.

Probably a ref job, but yeah, definitely stopping the lard-ass.

 

Round 3

Mansour is piling on with the right jab, pelting Kassi into the ropes and roping up the left hand, disguised on the dark side of the moon. Kassi elects to exchange with Mansour, coming off the ropes, throwing right uppercuts and left hooks on the body and looking to smother. Mansour complains of a rabbit punch. Mansour is twitching and shimmying at mid-range, dodging some jabs and uppercuts. Big chops and uppers by Mansour on the inside.

Of course they all would. They are world class guys. Flores was only ever a B-grade fringe contender at cruiser.

His opinions aren't that bad, though - and I think his "vendetta" against Europeans is overblown. He thought Chambers and Cunningham both deserved the nod over Adamek (which I happen to agree with) and that's really where his reputation of being an EE "hater" stems from.

 

Round 4

Mansour is working the body and cuffing a few rights across the back of the head of Kassi. Mansour is missing a few shots and hitting the shoulders of Kassi more frequently. Defensive rolls and single power counters by Kassi, moving in with his guard up tight against his face to remove Mansour's leverage.
