Top American network NBC will not broadcast any more of the Olympic Boxing in London after allegedly being disruptive following the elimination of their fighters from the competition.

The US Team's sole medallist at the games was woman’s champion Claressa Shields who took gold on Thurdsay, but since then, NBC has been reported to have been hampering the officials as they sat ringside.

NBC were the only broadcasters who were allowed to sit floor level as they covered the tournament and officials have been unhappy at the broadcast team whilst non-American fights were taking place.

"NBC commentators were offered a booth in the media tribune like other broadcasters because they were very disturbing for AIBA officials – even during bouts they were not broadcasting by being located at the edge of the Field of Play," an AIBA spokesman said in an emailed statement to Reuters.

"They claimed that since no boxers from the USA were still in the running, they didn't want to stay anyway."

The showing by US boxers is claimed to be the worst of all time as none of their male competitors managed to negotiate the quarter-finals at the ExCeL Arena and have been the subject of negative media since then.

Good now show real fights instead of debut for pampered novices.

And IMO Spence and one of fight I cant recall his name I think he fights at 156 are the only guys I can see doing well in the pros anyway.

Kinda helps the case for why some of the Klitschko fights don't get on HBO. Most casual American boxing fans wanna watch Americans fight. Or at least that is what NBC is making it seem as.

Either way guess their to busy televising the other events we're winning in.
