Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam has been given the WBO Middleweight Title after Dmitry Pirog refused to fight him and was stripped of the belt. Hassan had previously been WBO interim champion, and also WBA interim champion, but refused to fight the 'Regular' Champion Gennady Golovkin. Hassan's fight defence is scheduled to be vs Peter Quillin.

N'Jikam already refused to fight Pirog. Pirog was willing to defend against him, instead N'Jikam fought Bursak for the interm title and now Pirog has been stripped. Personally I hope Quillin takes this guys head off, otherwise that WBO belt is heading back to France never to be seen again.

It's just as likely to be lost in Brooklyn with Quillin making soft defenses for Haymon paydays and accusing the top middleweights of ducking him.

True, and one of those soft touches will have the name Jermain Taylor. They do have the problem that Golovkin would likely accept a low ball offer.

Had to know they'd find a way to take Pirog's belt from him eventually.

    Quillin KO's N'Jikam soon anyway.

I am confident N'Jikam will beat Quillin.

I feel the same way. N'jikam is a very underrated boxer although still untested. Quillin didnt exactly impress me against an old washed up Wright

N'Jikam is actually pretty good but protected. For some reason the alphabet governing bodies love him.

Seems like a pretty even fight to me. I think Quillin is a lot smarter in the ring though, and that will make the difference. N'Dam (and it is N'Dam, not N'Jikam) would rather get inside it seems, but tends to let his opponent dictate the style. Probably a bit more talented than Quillin though.
