N'Dam told me they have an immediate rematch clause with Peter Quillin

    Michael Woods ‏@Woodsy1069
Ndam says he couldn't train properly for this fight. Wants rematch, not in brooklyn

    Mike Coppinger ‏@MikeCoppinger
Schaefer says no immediate rematch, reiterates that WBO doesn't recognize them. Shoots down talk from N'Dam trainer.

    Ryan Maquiñana ‏@RMaq28
Schaefer getting testy when N'Dam's trainer Mustapha insisting on the rematch clause. "It's signed, but WBO doesn't recog immed rematch"

**** that. I rather see both guys in against other top 160 pounders. And N'dam sounds like he's making a some bull**** excuses. Did train properly? Why not? Who's fault is that?

I really want to see this rematch. It was a great fight and why not see it again.

N'Dam lost his title, give him a chance to get it back.

Who cares what the WBO says? Make the fight. Would be a good headliner on Showtime.

Anyone know why HNN couldn't train properly? What's the story?

GBP is gonna have to pay Ndam money, if the contract says he has a immediate rematch option, then he has a immediate rematch option on him and they are risking a breach of contract lawsuit that could see Quillin sidelined.

He has balls. Quillin probably ruined him. Rematch doesnt go past the 5th.

rematch would probably be more of the same, but if Ndam doesn't get knocked down and the fight is in a neutral venue he would win.

They signed the contract and I'm sure people would be interested in the re-match, so what's the problem?

Schaefer is basically saying they signed a contract they never had any intention of living up to.

Quillin was hurtin him with everything he threw. By the end of the fight Ndam was being wobbled by jabs. A little more activity and Ndam would be done for if this fight didnt ruin him already.
