Who takes this? Looks like DL camp accepted the fight for vacant IBF vs HNN. This is going to be a good fight. I'm already excited for this fight, good to see respectable contenders s****ping it out for a strap and the opportunity to rightfully demand a shot at the top of the division.
I think DL wins by late stoppage. This fight leaves some curious options for GGG's return in May/June.
David stopped Guerrero quicker than Quillin. David legitimately stopped Rosado unlike Quillin. David will stop N'Dam unlike Quillin.
But N'Dam is slick and that might be all wrong with Lemieux. Regardless, that will an excinting fight. Two young lions going at it to be the king (have a title).
Stevens hurt N'Dam twice early in their match and if he even had a concept of how to cut off the ring he would have stopped N'Dam, Lemieux's a little better at the cutting off the ring and his constant in your face pressure will get to N'Dam early or eventually and when David lands he'll go down and stay down this time.
Good. 2 guys at MW who should be fighting each other. Throw in a belt to make things a little more saucy
Could be a repeat of Ndam running circles around Lemieux and Lemieux clueless on how to adapt Stevens though badly outfoxed managed a late rally I'm really not sure
Finally-a real fight between two legit top contenders.A great opportunity for Lemieux to grab a title.
good fight, BJS clearly ducked N'dam but that would've been an easy win for N'dam, this is a much more competitive one.
BJS signed a deal to step aside then fight the winner of Lee v Quillin. Again, go watch Saunders' interview with IFL TV from last week. It's on IFL's youtube channel.
Great stuff. The winner of Cotto vs whoever his next opponent is has to fight Golovkin or give up the belt and then once Golovkin unifies the WBA and WBC he can get it on with the winner of N'Dam-Lemieux to unify the IBF too. Ideally that would be Lemieux because it would pit two huge KO punchers with aggressive fan friendly styles against each other. And besides, N'Dam has a track record of ducking Golovkin like he has the Bubonic Plague so who's to say he won't do so again if he emerges victorious?
IN the mean time what is he going to do? The guy hasn't fought outside of the UK yet, but I understand why risk your chance of losing your cash out fight against Quillin. N'dam is clearly too much for him, can't blame the guy for not taking the risk.
