Reported in French newspapers this morning. Doesn't seem like a great fit to me.

N'Dam is also (STILL) frustrated with the size of the ring in the Lemieux fight, as he formally requested a rematch in a 20X20 ring but was denied by the IBF. However, the IBF agreed to rank him #1 and have a top 10 guy fight him in a title eliminator.

What can Virgil do for Hassan? :think

Why doesn't it seem like a good fit?

    I'd say the opposite.

Doesn't seem like a great fit. N'Dam is built to be a quick stick and move fighter and he has decent defense already, I'm not sure why he went to Hunter - thought he might want to tweek his offensive skills a bit instead. You look at Gonzales-Vlasov and you wonder why the fukk Hunter wasn't pushing his guy to unload.

Would seem like a perfect fit to me. Hunter preaches defense and with N'Dam's chin he could use the help.

I think he has a good style for him but he needs to learn to use his jab better, improve his defense and just fight with more intelligence, at the moment he "looks" the part but really there's not much substance in his work.

I think Hunter will help him with that.

The funny thing is : even though he becomes mandatory to Lemieux's title, he would have to win the purse bid to get that 20x20 ring. But since he won't win the bid, he will still be fighting on Lemieux's terms. He can complain all he wants, cry like a baby, but those are just the harsh rules of the game.

Fair enough. On the jab though... look at the piston jab he was pumping out in the Khurtsidze fight and look at his jab vs Stevens. That muscle removal from his left bicep left him with no snap in it. Nothing Hunter can really fix there.

The French on netboxe.com are not having any of that. The ring size was a conspiracy.
