I hear what your saying. But no where in the rule book does it say that harder shots be favored over less powerful shots. I believe it's says punches landed in scoring zone no reference to power.

I do believe certain judges do give point for power shots landed then work rate shots(love taps)

I think some judges do. My point though was that there is no where in the rule book to back it up.

OK, Boys and girls,, let me edumacate youse, a scoring punch is an EFFECTIVE punch landed on the target area . A EFFECTIVE punch being one landed with the knuckle part of the glove and the WEIGHT of the SHOULDER behind it . .

Now that is one reason our lads did'nt go to well at the olympics , because this style that Bodo brought with him and the current trainers have seemed to carried on with ,, is USELESS. .

Now to save any arguments , if you want to know how can you have the shoulder behind a punch whilst moving backwards , Watch tapes of the master MUHAMMID ALI .

There Wide open ARSE take note of a scoring punch , COPY AND PASTE IT , AND GO TO ANOTHER FORUM AND TELL THEM HOW CLEVER YOU ARE .

We've got the Soliman v Lorenzo fight on tonight and yet still no boxrec listing of an undercard. Pretty poor.
