While I think the referee got involved entirely too much throughout the fight, I don't think it would have turned out any different. I saw N'Dou get away with lots of things in that fight that he could have been warned and penalized for, the intentional stomp on Malignaggi's foot that was caught clearly from many angles for instance.

N'Dou just didn't have an answer for Malignaggi's speed, and a rematch would end the same way. I don't see how he can complain about the judges either..I had Malignaggi winning all 12 rounds relatively easily.

Maybe Naggi will stop him this time, he had him dropped in the 9th and hurt in the 12th from accurate blows.

    Not even a little controversial.

Yep..I really didn't think it was controversial at all. N'Dou had no answers for Malignaggi. The ref did get involved a lot, but when he broke them up, Paulie usually had N'Dou in a clinch, I don't see what N'Dou thought he could accomplish if the ref had left them. Paulie smothered him when he got in close, and peppered him with quick shots from the outside throughout the fight.

The only way the fight is controversial is if N'Dou got the decision or even close to a draw on any cards.

N'dou isn't a world class fighter and was probably the phoniest world titlist in history. I don't see why he is moaning.

Whoa, let's not go overboard dogging out Lovemore. "Phoniest titlist in history" is a little strong, don't you think? Plenty of guys have been awarded titles that they didn't appear to have earned.

He's calling for re-match because that's the only big money fight option there is for him. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Lovemore is a world class fighter. He had eight losses before last night and he's in his mid 30's. But if a rematch clause was in the contract, he has every right to call for one. He was the beltholder. He probably doesn't expect the fight to go any differently, but I'm sure he could use the money.

Nice predictions in your signature mate. Agree with pretty much everything, although I don't see Hatton stopping Castillo, and I would never pick an MD would always go UD. But otherwise agree completely.

He's not an "A" fighter howerevr he is a very very good B level fighter who on a good day has the skill set to beat most anyone...but to say he is the phoniest title holder in history is just gay

Great performance from Paulie in this fight last time he looked a real top fighter. After this I thought he was lucky against Ngoudjo then lucky again against N'Dou. After the Hatton defeat he has been trying to rebuild ever since.

Glad he is fighting on Paulie on his night is a very good fighter.

I actually felt the first fight was controversial because of the ref.
