Lovemore Ndou's expert prediction This content is protected (1) How long have you been in camp with Floyd? It's been two months since I have been in camp with Floyd. And I have to add this is the best training camp I have ever been in my 22 year boxing career. The best. Period. (2) What has impressed you most about the skills of Floyd? Everything has impressed me about Floyd. He is a natural gifted fighter but at the same time he works harder in the gym than any other fighter I have ever worked with. And on top of that he believes in himself and his abilities. And that makes it just a bonus to him. (3) Has his power surprised you? Not so much his power but his accuracy, timing, speed and ability to throw such a flurry of punches from all angles. As reflected in his record, Floyd is not so much of a one punch knockout artist but that don't mean he can't stop his opponents. People need to remember that often it's not just one punch that takes your opponent out but the punch you don't see coming. Now, Floyd has the ability to hit people with punches they don't see coming because of his speed and ability to fight from every angle. In fact, I have seen him do it in the gym with 14 ounce gloves. Since I have been here I have seen him stop about five sparring partners. They have had to pack their bags and go back home. (4) Has he got the power to stop Hatton? I can only answer that question with another question. Is Hatton a human-being? If he is a human being that he appears to be then my answer to the previous question answers that. Yes, Floyd has more than what it takes to stop Hatton. Don't forget again that Hatton has the softest face tissue. I have seen this guy cut so bad in the past to a point where he required plastic surgery afterwards. Now, with Floyd's accurate punching, there is no way he won't be able to bust up that face again. (5) Your prediction on the Hatton vs Mayweather - KO or points? My prediction is Mayweather wins. KO or points it don't matter but I know for a fact that there is gonna be some serious beating. Mayweather is gonna take Hatton to school. We gonna see a replay of the Gatti fight but this time with the worst beating ever in the history of boxing. (6) Can Mayweather cope with the pressure that Hatton will apply in the ring? Ok, let me tell you something about pressure. Pressure on its own only works against D-level fighters. But pressure plus boxing skills will work against any fighter. That's what the great Julio Ceasar Chavez had. The ability to break down his opponent by applying pressure but at the same time applying his boxing skills. Now, we all know that Hatton has **** boxing skills. Please excuse my language but the guy has no boxing skills. Period. All he knows is to run forward and bully his opponents and get away with all sorts of dirty fighting which we all know that he won't be allowed to get away with in Vegas. That's what I like about the Vegas Commission. They don't take **** from anyone. Now, how on earth is he gonna beat a master of boxing skills like Floyd without boxing skills and dirty fighting? My answer is yes, Mayweather can cope with the pressure that Hatton can apply. Don't forget that the reason I have been here working with Floyd is because I'm a pressure fighter myself. Not only am I a pressure fighter, but anyone that knows their boxing will tell you that I'm also a lot bigger, stronger and skilful than Hatton. That is another reason why he Hatton never wanted to fight me in the past but hand me over the IBF title. Now, with all that, I have been putting a lot of pressure on Mayweather every time we sparred since I have been here and it never fazed him. Now, how on earth is a limited fighter like Hatton gonna beat him? Hatton should only be thankfully that he is getting an opportunity to fight a boxing legend and Pound for Pound the best fighter in the world. The way I see it, it's a win-win situation for Hatton. He gets beat by the best fighter in the world, there aint no shame in that. And on top of that he gets the best payday ever in his whole career. The way I see it, he may even retire after this fight and financially he is set for life. He may even buy himself a few more pubs in England after this. (7) Who were other Mayweather sparring partners besides you Carlos Baldomir was one of them. Then there were two other kids. A Mexican kid called Ramon and a kid from Argentina called Carlos. Sorry, I only know their first names. Then there were about five others I already told you had to pack and go after some serious beating. (8) Who is Lovemore Ndou fighting next and what venue. I'm scheduled to fight on the same card as my dear friend Paul Malignaggi on the 5th of January in Atlantic City. I still don't have an opponent as yet but I expect to have one in the next few days. Great stuff from N'Dou. He was pretty dead on except that it wasn't the worst beating in boxing history.
this is why we need Malignaggi - Hatton. Malignaggi shutout Hatton, and lost by two rounds and an early knockdown against Cotto where he had his face broken. Malignaggi looks much more clever since under the tutelege of Buddy McGirt.
pretty accurate,i think.i remeber when lovemore smashed justin rowsell,i was impressed then with him.
Not a bad analysis. Surprised at after all the ****-talking he did of getting a rematch (cause there was a rematch clause), despite being SHUT OUT, that he's now calling Paulie a GOOD FRIEND? Did I miss something? Or just mis-read it? Depending on how Hatton looks in his next fight at 140 (you gotta give him a chance), I also think that Paulie could be the no. 1 guy at 140.
A good read. That's pretty accurate . . . with the exception of Ndou's personnal hyping. This is the best part: :yep :good
