Lovemore won a 12 round unanimous decision over Phillip by scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113. Picked up the vacant IBO WW title. From what i read Lovemore just basically outworked Phillip to win the fight.
Awesome..I forgot about this fight to be honest, but was interested in it. I thought unless the judges took it off him no way Lovemore woud lose this...hopefully he gets a couple of more paydays and calls it a day. Id still like to see Lovemore vs Augustus..nice little scrap that would be. Thanks for that Daz.
No worries mate. I was also interested in this fight and only remembered to check a while ago. Be interesting so see where Lovemore goes from here
a good reward for Lovemore . he always comes in fit, gives his all and has never ducked anyone.though past his best he deserves a good payday or two before he retires. he will go hard right to the end.
