    lara vs angulo would be crowd pleasing as well and the winner would be sky high in the ranks and should fight a big name opponent in 2013.

    Will really give Canelo props if he beats Williams, Lara, hopefully and Molina. Needs experience and these old farts/blown up fighters aren't worth him wasting his prime on. As critical as I am on Canelo I will be the first to give praise once he deserves it facing legit competition.

    It would be a very intresting fight vs Lara,Lara is very underrated and beats Paul Williams easy but he is not that famous,thats his problem ^^ ;)

    E. Lara or Paul Williamms.
    Alvarez needs to take that next step up. While I'd like to see a rematch between the two. They repesent the best opitions for Alaveraz right now. If Cotto was comming off his win over Margarito, he'd be in the mix. However not anymore after losing to Mayweather.
    Another opition not mentioned is the winner of A. Trout & D. Rodrequiz

    Seriously.....angulo, margerito, ishida, molina would be good opponents. Regardless of what anyone thinks about him being protected, he's incredibly young. I hate the way that certain people (either on this forum or elsewhere) label him a bum unless he takes on Lara or Williams. Great fights but its not his fault golden boy rim his record. He'll fight them all I am sure but he could build a steady and brilliant resume if allowed to do it his way. I'm not even a massive fan to be honest....just one of those fighters who gets criticised no matter what.
