Saw him fight on the card Good Ol' JR called in April from The D in Las Vegas. The guy had an engine that won't quit, but he looks like he's going to be stopped - and stopped hard - the first time he gets in with someone who can throw a decent uppercut and/or counter punch. They said he averages 150 punches a round, and he was throwing just as many in the 8th round as he was in the 1st in his last match against Limberth Ponce. Ponce had won a Golden Gloves title in Chicago, no small feat, and came into the match with a 10-2 record with the losses coming by a SD and a MD. The Rooster beat him comfortably, and Ponce seemed confused and exhausted by Necco's fighting "style." I don't know how sustainable Necco's fighting style is, based on what I said back in the first paragraph. His last win was his first win vs. a guy with a record over .500. Thoughts?
