Recently when I've been sparring, the following day I've been waking up with massive neck pain and the inability to turn my head left or right very well... We spar with 10oz gloves and no headgear if I'm wondering if this may play a part? Anyone else get this??
Not so much there if I'm honest, more the sides, particularly when I turn it. The back of it isn't so bad, thankfully..
i get that. but to answer your question yes that is totally the reason. Suppose its a kind of whiplash
No headgear? I'm guessing you got some of this nice ears then... This content is protected Anyway, it could be from you getting hit. I'd do some Neck exercises.
10oz gloves and no head gear????? that sounds safe... A sore neck wil be the least of your problems in a few years if you keep that up...
Sides of the neck? It could be a strained trapezius muscle, or one of the other muscle groups supporting the neck. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
I second this... WHO THE **** SPARS WITH 10oz GLOVES?! On a second note, STOP GETTING HIT. ur neck hurts cuz of whiplash. Defend yourself, move, slip, cover up. oh and STOP SPARRING WITH 10oz GLOVES!!!!!
