Recently my gym has shut down:verysad, however i have found a new gym, although i have a problem; they do not train as many days a week.
I am currently looking for things that i can do, but for now, what would be the best excercises to do from home?
I do not have much equipment what so ever, skipping rope, gloves (no bag), 1kg dumbels to shadow box with, 3kg dumbels, 5kg dumbels, and a adjustable dumbel with 2 x 2 kg adjustable weight and 3 x 1 kg adjustable weight.
Therefore im going to have to do a lot of body weight excercises.
However i can time what i am doing as i have access to an online stopwatch.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Something that my old gym use to do, say if we were going to do a few rounds of shadowboxing, they would sometimes tell us to do a round or two with weights, and then a round without. That is just the equipment i have, open to any suggestions to what i could do with it/ body weight things.

    Best exercises for what?

Just for fitness: There are countless threads on here for that. Put very simply, just run, do some body weight circuits (push ups, squats/pistols, chin ups if you can, bridges), skip some rounds, etc.

Boxing specific/skill, etc.: Shadow boxing (forget the weights), slipping drills (if you've got a place to attach some rope, there's a great video posted recently about a four way slip line), look at investing in a floot-to-ceiling ball, etc. There's a bunch of videos that'd give some good ideas for some solo drills you can do.

i watched freddie roachs dvd with excercises for upper body and core, and his condition trainer ****** Fortune shows an interval excercise with dumbels.

4 x 3min round, every 30 sec changing way of throwing hands with dumbels. It can be done from 0,5kg to 2,5kg dumbels. The goal is strenghtening shoulders for a fight. When you achieve nice speed with f.e. 0,5, you move to 1kg etc.. Today, after a half year with 0,5 I will try with 1kg. I think that very improved my endurance, my hands are no more falling down, and I can box many rounds.

I do the same thing, don't know the exact reason why but my mate said he watched it in a professional Boxing DVD. I find it a bit useful tho doing a round with it ..
