I pretty much get no pad work when training at my gym, so i feel like im kinda left to develop my technique on my own, i feel like a one handed fighter as i dont have much confidence with throwing the right hand, but whenever i do go on the pad (which is hadly ever, cant remember the last time i went on pads!) my right hand is very sharp, quick and powerful accoding to my trainers. So is their any drills i could do, or anything to increase my confidence when throwing this punch, cause i tend to freeze up and just stick to the jab, lead hook etc, any help would be appriciated :thumbsup

Here is something that you may want to try.
Keep your elbows close to your body.
When you throw the right hand --- punch straight.
When you punch with the right hand, turn and change weight.
Dont punch wide or loop your right hand --- just turn and punch straight.
Punch short, keep you elbows and right hand close to your body.
Dont forget to give your opponent something else to think about -- like a few jabs and double jabs so when you throw you right , he doesnt see it.
    Have fun.

    Rodney's advice is good advice.

Watch fighters with good right hands. e.g. watch Nard vs. Tarver. Textbook right hand leads fest.

if you are hesitant in throwing it you need to practice your 1,2 a lot more, repetition, repetition and then more, very important. you need to practice until you own the technique and dont need to think about it good luck!
