You might try film of Billy Graham a boxer par excellence, so great a fluid boxer he was NEVER kod in 128 fights, and never floored. I saw him numerous times, and never saw him hurt. If he could have hit hard he would be an alltime great...

Yeah, I was wondering about his inclusion, but fair enough. I found him a little herky-jerky and overly-poised, inaction is always smooth I suppose. I'm not disputing his effectiveness, but I wouldn't call him smooth personally; you mention Watson who I would say is far, far smoother and demonstrated it graphically in their second fight.

A great performance by Watson, no doubt, but i think it was more of a tempo and consistent precision thing that enabled him to look the better in the rematch.

He changed things up, showed a new angle to his style and after a pretty even 6-7 rounds he thoroughly gassed Eubank out, who started being unable to slip that nasty short right.

As said i think Eubank generally needed to be the one dictating things to look truly smooth, or he'd start fragmenting a bit, either due to his stamina or having to pressure and lead consistently. We were starting to figure out Eubank's issue with a quick pace by then, and Watson obviously had as well after the first fight.

The first fight between the two where they more or less just pitted skills against each other in a steadily paced chessmatch, it was Eubank that looked the smoother.Watson more consistent even there(eubank needing to take a couple of rounds off even in a medium paced fight:yep), but he didn't have quite the same natural looking punch slipping\countering technique or movement imo.

Eubank was never more dead at a weight than in the Watson first encounter. He actually passed out after the weigh-in. Amazing considering the performance he put in in the first five rounds, totally taking Michael to school.
