so if froid's on roids, and void is floyd therefore void is void, does that make floyd a duck or chicken? hmmmm :think

Because it's been reported by every reputable news source. ESPN, BBC or sites like the Scene. Everyone reputable, is saying both sides agreed and the only two people left to agree were Pacquiao and Floyd. One signed. One didn't.

The key for me is the quote that Mayweather had no contractual obligations. He got his way with the purse and testing and it wasn't enough.

Because neither void, Ellerbe, Haymon, GBP, Greenburg have disputed what Arum has said, that it was agreed upon through Greenburg.

DOnt you think with this massive PR crash team void will be disputing everything? Dont you think Greenburg would get a lil angry about Arum using his name to tell lies?

The only think we have heard form Floyd's side is "I need a vacation". He's too busy being flashy:

Understand, I'm not confronting I'm asking you, so you believe that Manny agreed to USADA testing procedures? You have heard Floyd say repeatedly a fight wouldn't go down without this agreement? Again, I'm not implying that Floyd is "right" or that Manny is "wrong" or vice versa, I'm simply saying this absolutely doesn't fit with past dialogue and behavior. I find it odd that anyone would "accept" that Manny agreed to USADA testing, they agreed to a purse split of 55-45 (as an example no validation), and Floyd just turned it down and walked away as truth without asking questions.

How could this have been reported by all these media outlets if their was a media ban? So we have no details what so ever because of a "media ban", yet the media is used as the authority for accepting "both sides agreed on the contracts", does that not seem somewhat contradictory? Dude, I'm not trying to argue with you, and I'm not trying to be combative and/or disagreeable, I just think there is more to this story and it's filled with subtle oddities like this, that make me question the process and the overall agenda, because I don't feel it was to make a fight for Nov. 13th.

This whole situation has been odd to be honest. From the media ban, to Arum being nice to Floyd post deadline to Floyd's lack of a more thorough response.

It is easy to claim Floyd is ducking Pac because Floyd is quite widely hated and he does have a history of avoiding certain challenges, and in all honesty he may very well be ducking Pac. However, there is a feeling (only a feeling mind, since no facts have been presented because of all of this secrecy) that something else is going on behind the scenes that has scuppered this fight. Something that is not in the hands of, and therefore can not be controlled by anyone involved in either camp (i.e. Roger's case, potential injury to Floyd).

No one outside of the two respective camps really knows so alls we can do really is speculate but i do think we should reserve judgment until (if ever) all the facts are released to the general boxing public.

Normally i would be the first to jump on Floyd for doing something that hinders boxing but this whole situation has been very odd indeed so i am going to wait it out before i pass judgment.

Hopefully both parties really have come to an agreement over the contract like has been reported and what ever has stopped the November fight from taking place gets resolved quickly and we can see this fight take place sometime next year.

I think people are claiming both sides agreed to the contract because Arum said they did to the media and Floyd has not come out and argued against this.

This is a good sign that both sides have agreed because if they havn't then you would think that Floyd would contest Arums claims, however it is not proof.

First off, excellent thread Reppin501. I am going to agree with YoungBlood regarding the type of answers you shall receive, regarding this issue from the extremists who apparently hate Floyd.

Floyd is definetly an arrogant and vocal character, so his silence is more than odd to say the least. IMO the fight will happen but not this year but in 2011, after Roger's situation has a more definte outlook.

With the amount of hatred that Bob and Co. has for Floyd, Arum would not have taken the "high road" so to speak with buying more time for Floyd to appraise his situation.

I can't say, mate. Either Mayweather had a change of heart, which I doubt as he's not interested in the fight, or Pacquiao did. It's possible that they said 52/48, 10 days cut off or something like that, to meet in the middle.

But the fact remains that Mayweather had no objections.
