Round 1: 10-10

Feel out round for both. A bit more action in the last mintue. Neither is landing anything special, both pumping some jabs. Even round.

 

Round 1: 10-10
Round 2: 10-10

Nearly impossible to seperate them. Both are throwing almost NOTHING, just standing in front of each other and waiting. Can't remember i have seen such a slow fight in terms of landed shots. I thought first round was close but second was even closer.

Round 3: 10-9 Lee close

 

Good first round between Rakhmonov and Hunter. Hunter boxed well for the first two minutes but got caught with a nasty left hook and was dazed for the last minute. Not sure if Hunter is going to be able to last if he doesn’t figure out how to not get caught

 

and now Rakhmonov is caught with a beautiful counter right and stumbles down in round 2. I’m not sure Sanjarbek is actually hurt too bad, it looked more like it just caused him to momentarily lose his balance but his gloves went down. That might be the moment Hunter needed to keep Sanjar a bit more cautious and at bay. Great fight so far. The second round probably goes to Rakhmonov if not for the knockdown but it was close outside that moment

 

Hunter looks quite suspect.

 

He doesn’t know how to deal with pressure but he does seem to have a good chin.

 

Hunter wins by SD.

 

I’d have to go back and watch that again but that seems like a pretty bad robbery to me. I guess the fact that Round 1 went to Hunter on all cards, and the knockdown in the second, probably changed the scores but I don’t really agree with 77-74 Hunter in the slightest.

 

77-74 was an Adelaide Byrd special lol.
