No middleweights in history could easily beat modern middleweights like Canelo or Golovkin, they will go through hell and back before they manage to do so.

After all the talk I expected them to try to knock each other out, I felt that neither really tried to finish, Canelo tried to push but lack the real one punch knock out power to be able to hurt GGG and (like I said earlier) GGG looked old.

I expected a Hagler vs Hearns fight but got something that wasn’t even exciting...

I think it’s a few middleweights that would beat them both.

Jeez, they're not superhumans. Elite athletes are allowed to get tired you know. That was a hard fight, a war. What do you expect?

Some people have ridiculous expectations of fighters.

In this case though I feel like Canelo's performance was better the first time. He was moving well and catching GGG with massive clean counters that werent seen this fight.

The public made this fight what it is. This fight was fought at pretty average level of skill. They said Canelo ran first fight. He didn't run this time yet again landed the bigger clean punches with no body work whatsoever from GGG.

2 elite boxers cancelling out the other's best assets and making them constantly adjust is unimpressive? in what world?

It really depended on your expectations. Both fights were good but not great. And both boxers are elite at 160. (GGG's time is coming to an end).

However in p4p sense, neither is or was no.1 Loma, Crawford , and Spence Jr. are the best in the sport.

Crawford vs. Spence could be the real superfight.

Excellent fight by both fighters. Both showed great skill set. Canelo earned respect, but still I think GGG won and Canelo didn't do enough to grab a win.
Hopefully GGG will go for knockout in 3d fight.

let's not get carried away with this talk of "bunch of the other middleweights" being better than either fighter. Canelo fought an aging slightly past it GGG just as Pacquiao did with Dela Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard did with Hagler. For all this talk of GGG not having a great resume..who wanted to fight him in his prime? The list of guys who wouldn't is quite impressive: Cotto, Sergio Martinez, Canelo, Paul Williams...etc!! Jermall Charlo looks incredible right now versus non elite competition...what happens when he gets a guy with a world class chin and punchs himself out in a few rounds? What's his plan B? Danny Jacobs would be a good test for Charlo. BJS has phenomenal footwork and speed but can anyone win a decision against Canelo? If you knocked him spark out...it would be ruled a draw by the corrupt judges. I love GGG but his boxing career is in it's final act. Will he go out well past his prime for a big payday ala Sergio Martinez vs Cotto? I see a money fight for a belt in Japan and a swan song fight with Billy Joe Sanders for a final big payday.
