Initially I thought wlad was pulling a ***** move but after digging deeper it does actually look like sky pulled the plug on it. It apparently clashes with the khan fight in april two weeks prior.

They were unwilling to budge and move khan back even though it is a much bigger event.

Boente feels confident the fight will still happen july the second, he said they will just reapproach with the same deal once this fight is over.

Even though I had my initial resetations, as long as chisora doesn't pull the upset there should be no real delay since that is the date they were negotiating for anyways. It isn't even a delay, just an interim fight.

I don't see haye reciprocating, I imagine he'll wait out till july.

There is not way the fight is happening only 2 months after Wlad-Chisora. August at the earliest.

Even though Wlad will come out unscathed after battering the del boy, It would be more practical to have at least a couple weeks of rest. Then he should have the 2 months for training camp. After all Haye represents the ONL threat to him at heavyweight, who's not blood related.

sky are idiots, earn more for haye v klitschko in april,or earn less with khan vs no one massive.

and they were too greedy to put two fights in same month!.

i hope haye does still take fight for july 2nd,he can earn big money vs adamek on hbo,and in vegas, while he waits for wlad.

then haye will be fighting someone good, while wlad fights someone not good who is no where near experienced enough for him.

no reason to me why haye cant fight 3 fights in his last year of boxing,if he sticks to it,and even no reason why he cant go on longer for another year or even a few more months.

I doubt haye will fight other than vs k2. He has literally won the jackpot with this belt and he aint gonna risk it.

Haye has to fight one of the brothers or Chagaev or he will be stripped.

if he has to fight whom ever to keep the titles then fair enough.

but him vs chageav wont be competitive if haye comes in shape and takes the fight seriously.

chageav looked bad in his last fight vs a nobody.

i dont think wlad has enough time between fights, unless he beats chisora with ease, and doesnt need a long break,or a long camp after just fighting 2 months beforehand.

no i think it will happen, chisoras is a joke and will probs get kayoed in 2 rounds.

WBA will allow haye to claim harrison was the mandatory, or just elevate him to super champ because he's unifying. WBA very rarely strip fighters (I know they did with chagaev, but through history they keep the most champs) they want their champ to be the winner of haye - klitschko.

perhaps it might be smart for haye to go after vitali, but i'm not sure vitali would do that to wlad, essentially denying his brother his biggest payday.

does anyone see haye really fighting chagaev in germany? i sure don't. does anyone see haye risking his lottery ticket? i don't.

his career is too short for him to be seen as an ATG, any other victory other than k2 will mean nothing in the big scheme of things. infact he is unlikely to find any other fighter that would top his victories over mormeck, big mac and valuev, other than k2. there is no need for him to fight inbetween, unless WBA actually do strip him.

Yeah, which active fighter, not named klitschko, would top either of them victories? I wouldn't rank any victory over adamek, povetkin, solis or chagaev as in his top 3 victories.

Not surprising. Haye virtually killed Setanta boxing after they invested everything in his fight with Wlad the first time, only for Haye to pull out and kill the fight. Now he's fresh off ****ing Sky about with his farce of a fight vs Audley. They'd be fools to give him preference over a true star like Khan, who has massive PPV potential for the future.
