Go for it Billy! I imagine it's been a tough year for you, so if you move down south I hope everything works out for you which I'm sure it will :good
Don't be daft. Ricky was as basic as can be. He was about as fluid and swift as a 90 year old after 2 hip replacements. What did he do that was terrific? He had great heart, and stamina - Other than that he had nothing great.
If Ricky was basic Brixton then British boxing is in a mess because nearly all the top LW & LWW in the UK sparred Ricky and none gave him any trouble whatsoever, in fact several we're dropped and couldn't believe his defence was has good.
Thanks Ryan few things to take into consideration before moves finalised, things happen in life for a reason, I can hold my head up very high and be proud of what I've achieved others cant
Bit harsh although I do admit that I think if we were even back in the days of 2 world champions (that I can't remember ) I doubt burns would of won a world title . But burns and his team made the most of what he had and he picked up his strap and made some money good luck to him . A good trainer looks after his fighter and gets the most from his abilities
Sorry I'm not having he was world class against Gonzalez, that comment is sheer stupidity. I like Burns unlike a lot on here and think him and Billy done a lot of good stuff together when no one expected anything from them but he was not world class against Gonzalez.
He was far from world class against Gonzalez, however he did what he had to do, stuck in there like a proper champion and his resolve broke Gonzalez down.
