Neno Rodriguez back with Top Rank. After leaving Mayweather promotions, this is a smart move by Neno. He will at least stay busy with Arum. 1 fight in 2 years is horrible. After what happened to Neno, Thomas Durlome I dont think many fighters will sign with Mayweather. Mayweather=great fighter, absolutely garbage promoter.
Let's hope hat atrocious showing against Bravo was just a one off bad night at the office, I really like this kid, and I think he has the potential to go far, I'm kind of happy he's back with Top Rank, at least he'll fight once every 6 months instead of once a year. Although I think he'd be a better fit with Golden Boy, hey keep their fighters a little more active.
TMT seems unable to secure TV dates. Makes sense because they are part of the PBC and they have a lot of ground to cover with few dates. Ffs, the next TMT card had 13 fights scheduled. That's just overkill. Same story with the next PBC card but they have 12 fights.
I wonder how bad or where Golden Boy Promotions would be today if not for Richard Schaefer to actually run things and build the business (before he for whatever reason did what he did (with Haymon) to GBP, the company he worked so hard to build to.)
