I haven't seen Takuma in a couple of years since I left Japan, but I doubt he's drastically improved. I've seen Oubali and I'm not impressed at all. Nery would literally take a huge ass dump on both of them. Would be cool if Nery/Inoue is the fight that gets made, but idk if he can get past Oubali, so Naoya vs Nery can be promoted as brotherly revenge.
Timestamped. Tabugon dropping Nery, This content is protected Villanueva dropping Nery. This content is protected Oubaali hits harder than both of them, and is far more skilled.
Not Naoya lol. Takuma. You can't honestly think Takuma sparks Nery out. I'm positive you misread my title. I agree with you that Naoya sparks Nery out, but it would be a fight I would be nervous about. Nery can hurt anyone at 118.
From what I've seen of Oubaali which is 1 fight against Warren, Nery destroys him. To be fair to Oubaali though, Warren just has a spoiler type style and is elusive. Honestly, I'd be happy if Oubaali got revenge on PED Nery that knocked Yamanaka out then came in overweight and knocked him out again, but dude is legit imo, even without the PEDs.
Warren has a solid chin, that much is certain, Zhakiyanov is heavy handed, an he stood up to his bombs, Oubaali is as well. And yeah, it was just Warren's style that made him look bad. I've seen a lot of Nordine, he's damn skilled and a fairly smooth boxer, with a good chin himself, I think he'll do a number on Nery. So we might both get our wish. This content is protected
Nery is a weight bully PED cheat who has made his name beating an old man who he happened to catch at the right time. If Payano shows up on point I wouldn't be surprised if he causes the crude Nery a ton of issues. Then again he's 35 and was KO'd in 1 brutally in one of his more recent outings so probably another opponent the marauding cheat is catching at the right time.
Will Nery actually make 118 for his upcoming fight against Payano? He hasn't been able to make the weight 2 fights in a row since he got busted, so there's a big chance he will come in over and not even be able to win that illustrious "Silver" belt, no matter what the outcome.
