Based on what? You have to realise that some guys have vastly larger purses as well than GGG for some of these PPVs so for them, sure, 300k is minimum. GGG took 2 million or something as did Lemieux.

Just correct -HBO which is a publicly traded company gave the the figure of 150 K buy rate for the GGG-Lemieux event.Secondly ,they also did close to 2 million in closed circuit and International rights fees combined.

Anyone else think alot of Hershman being canned was due to the lack of HBO hype for the Pac vs Mayweather fight? They had "At Last" and some ****TY commercial....This was THE FIGHT and they didnt do **** because they had the idea "The fight will sell it's self", when in reality, the fight did sell it's self but they could have made a ton more, got people way more hyped, and instead sat on their asses.
GGG vs Lemieux probably didnt hurt though haha
