I think he ducked both Cotto and Margarito when they were looking like beasts.

Someone actually posted a thread back in the day that actually talked to someone in PBFs camp and said they told him Margarito is just the wrong style for PBF to fight so they didnt want that fight.

Cotto also was destroying people left and right. Margarito ruined him though.

I think the Margarito that beat Cotto would have beaten PBF that night. PBF would have lasted 12 but the work rate along with the relentlessnes was just crazy. I still remember how Margarito was jogging to Cotto in the 10th round so he could get at him faster.
The best PBF could have done that night was pot shot but still get outworked at the end.

Prime Moslye turned down Mayweather a couple of time, check the history. Mosley moved up to 147 to fight DLH, which Mayweather was still @ 130. Cotto team turned down Mayweather @ 140 saying they wasn't ready to put Cotto in the ring with yet. As far as Pac, it wasn't a duck.

lol what a load of bs that is. He looked to have a really good chance against Mayweather at the time of course he had loaded gloves and Mayweather would have won in a fair fight. At the end of the day though that Margarito would do much better than both Baldo and Corrales. I understand Maywether did not want to risk a fight with DLH so I'd say that isn't a major duck but he clearly ducked Cotto and Pac.

It had nothing to do with risk. Margarito is too slow and doesn't have enough power to hurt Mayweather. He never would have laid a glove on him.

Read the article. The Margarito fight was offered as part of a 3 fight deal that alos included Cotto, and Hatton. Mayweather agredd to the 8mill for the Margo fight but wanted 10 millions dollar purses for Cotto and Hatton and a fight with DLH. Arum told him do deal, so Mayweather rejected the offer and went to make more money by himself.

People who can't see this pure 100% irrational haters.

Please give me reasons he should have fought Baldimor over Margarito, sure you have a small arguement with the linear BS but you can NOT possibly say that Baldimor was the best Welter at that time... cus that **** isnt true...

Do the opposite and give reasons as to why he should have fought Margarito over Baldomir. As I mentioned before the Margarito was a shitty deal from Arum. Had Arum not been so greedy, you would have gotten to see Mayweather give Margo a one sided boxing lesson 120-108.

the answer is in the question I ask, Who was the better fighter at that time Margarito or Baldimor? just a simple question, dont get **** twisted with that lineal title BS, answer the question of the two who was the better fighter over all... the answer always will be margarito....

Just Pac, I really don't think he is really scared or was trying to avoid cotto/margarito he just speaks his mind if the money was not right then it wasent right. Hes a excellent boxer and perhaps a good person behind the cameras , but the way he acts and carrys him self makes him look whimpy, the fact that he always argues like a 11 year old on tv.

Only PAC.....No other options are out there that equate to a PAc fight. Floyd clearly DUCKED PAC. Cotto, Marg and others who folks have accused Floyd of ducking in my opinion are not valid. Floyd had many options available that were on par with Cotto or marg when those fights were talked about and offered to him
