Damn . . . this is good news. Hopefully the Nevada Athletic Commmision approves Valero's health condition.

It will open up the guy's chance to mix it up with the big names inside U.S.:good

If they do approve Valeros health I have a strong feeling they wont after the fight. This guy has been fighting noboddys in Japan for the last few years and struggled in his only fight vs a notable opponet who isnt even on Pacs level. Valero has 49 career rounds while Pacs had more then that in just his last 6 fights :-( Pacs going to beat him bad maybe worse then he did Diaz.

I'd much rather for it to take place in Las Vegas than Texas and hope it'll be free on HBO.. I see a one-sided beating come up on Nov. 15 for and it might be even worse than Diaz's.. Valero could get seriously hurt..

Well this is Valero's chance to prove himself. And I have nothing against that.

I have been antagonizing Valero . . . not because I hate the guy . . . it's just to counter ILLOGICAL HYPING being done by his followers. Now let's see what's going to happen.

I'm happy for Valero because even if he loses to Pac in this fight . . . the mere fact that he can now fight inside U.S. (if approved by Nevada) means he won't be fighting nobody's in Asia anymore.

Thats why I wish it wouldnt happen I see a bad beating for Valero like I mentioned he has 49 career rounds while Pacs had more then that in just his last 6 fights thats a big experience gap and Pacs been fighting good fighters. When you look at Pacs level of oppostion and count his rematches id say Pacs fought about 15 fighters better then the best guy Valero fought which would be Vosquera. If it happens I agree please be on free HBO theres enough PPVs coming this fall or winter between Oscars fight,Mosley-Mayorga,Casamayor-JMM probablly more. Pacs last 7 fights have been on PPV :-(

I have nothing agianst him having a chance to prove himself neither but does he really deserve it yet ? Pac according to most is p4p the worlds best so why is he fighting a guy whos had less then 50 rounds in his career, fought 1 notable name and up until 3 months ago was declared medical unfit to fight in the US ? Valero should be fighting someone like Barrios or Juarez.

It should be Pac-Soto. Seriously Soto needs to get a crack at Pac. That fight would actually be competitive unlike this one. I watched the Mosquera fight which up to now is the best fighter Valero has faced and if Mosquera had more power he would have KOd Valero.
Not to mention Valero has bad health. Its dangerous.

Soto is defientally a better choice. I know hes lost 2 of 3 if you wanna count that last bout but hes a much more proven fighter then Valero and deserves a chance at the title agian.

Look on the bright side, this fight could potentially have more fireworks than the Cotto/Margo match. Both these guys love to trade and have little regard to defense when caught in the heat of the moment. As a matter of fact, I think Pac will have to get up off the canvas early in order to win this one.

Pac is a warrior and puncher at heart so I don't see him running around pot shotting like PBF when he faces Valero. It could be a straight up slugfest which I doubt Cotto/Margo will be like many people seem to think.

Nothing would be funnier than watching Pac school Valero for most of the fight then get caught flush from a wild punch and KTFO. Gotta love true one punch knockout artists even when they are crude and open to counters all night.

Exactly. And Soto-Pac would be a hell of a war. Soto has a proven chin and enough power to hurt Pac. I think he is actually a better boxer too. Not the fastest but has good fundamentals. Imagine if he back Pac into the ropes and starts throwing those uppercuts!
THey could also sell this alot better than a Valero fight. Remember Soto beat up Pacs brother.

There are better fights than this one. But I think Pac-Valero is overall good.

Yeah I love fights that have the I beat your brother thing. Soto-Pac would be great Soto gives Pac something we aint seen in awhile a prime fighter whos got good solid technique and has alot of endurance and a rock hard chin. Rocky Juarez landed some nice shots and couldnt budge Soto and if Juarez has anything its a hard left hook.

I can see where you're coming from bud . . . but Barrios and Juarez has loses to big names and as some may call it . . . they are left overs . . . while Valero is unbeaten; unproven, he can stir up more curiosity therefore can command more money.

This is a very high risk low reward fight for Pac . . . but just think of it this way . . . the number 1 p4p fighter is making an "easy fight" against a guy with 24 ko's in 24 fights.
