    - never heard him to detail about his training metods - training components. :think

    - about his fighting strategy / game plan - how the plan should be working.:think (after the fight of course)

    - what flaw saw at his opponent and how he adjusted on it. :think

    - when u should do/use different boxing tactics or tricks. :think

He only just show his usually training stuff like some light working at the heavybag, pad working with his uncle , sit ups , back neck muscles working with Ellerbe and some pull ups.

I'd like very much to see him explaining in detail how he's thinking into a fight , the adjustments that he makes , WHY and HOW. :think

IMO he's too general and he gives vag informations about his craft. Sometimes I think Floyd don't listen his trainer (uncle, father) and all he does its for the cameras / show (ex: 'my dad had a brilliant game plan') , ok then please explain it. :think

I'd like to see Floyd speaking like Hopkins does about the "technical stuff". Hopkins likes to share his boxing knowledge and explain certain things.

Why should he while he's still fighting, his opponents will try to study them!!
Im sure after he walks away me might make a training DVD and co-Author a few books

    :yep:deal

I hope after he retires , Floyd will share something about his boxing knowledge , tricks and so on.

Maybe he doesn't 'think' so much as we think to believe, maybe its just pure instinctively when he makes 'adjustments ' into a fight :think

The thing that's most puzzling me about floyd is!!!!
The man never gets hit with combinations how the hell
He knows what's coming before his opponent throw it!!!
(Gucci mane & Smoking so sorry for the grammar)

he will def be the guy to realese a book. would be a great read actually, you know for a guy whos constantly in the cameras eye you dont really hear alot of his real thoughts on certain issues (his getting more older and mature now so you do see it here and there) but a biography tends to be nothing held back, it would be very interesting years down the track to see how he (as a humble retired boxer) looks back on his career from things like the shady decision in the olympics to the megafight never eventuating and the fallout between him and bob arum

    yep.

I realise that we don't know nothing relevant about Floyd. He gives only the 'cheap stuff' in front of the cameras.

I think Floyd's 'the only genius' behind his boxing career since the Apodaca fight. :D

It is funny.. on 24/7 and all access you only ever see him doing the same things.

    - the usual pad work with roger
    - bit of work on the heavy bag
    - throwing body shots on the body bag
    - neck exercises
    - sit up/jump ups
    - speed ball

That's basically all he allows us to see.

Mayweather has explained a bit about his style before (I've always liked that video above) but I don't think you should expect him to do so on the same level as Hopkins. Just because you're a master in your field, it doesn't mean you can actually express all the clever and impressive things that you're able to do in depth. I think Mayweather is the sort of guy that has clear 'ring intelligence', and he knows how to trick opponents and break them down, but I'm not sure if he could actually teach this or communicate it fully. Hopkins has better speaking skills and can break detailed things down into chunks. Marquez and Malignaggi are also good at it.

    Good post:good

I think Mayweather is more intelligent, not just in boxing, but in general than people give him credit for, but it doesn't come off that way because he's not a good speaker or good at articulating himself.
