and to be honest i never heard of jeff lacy until he was on the video game. and when i found out he was fighting calzaghe i looked up calzaghe on youtube. so how in the hell is that ignorance?
verry good article: " What if Calzaghe faced Dawson? This could be the most satisfying and the most logical idea outside Calzaghe moving up to heavyweight and facing someone by the last name Klitschko" funy
On that basis, I read it. It basically says very little and whilst it is not horribly biased it is not a very good piece either. It should be pointing out to the readers who want to call Kessler overhyped that he is far from it and a brilliant win. It should be making the link between the Lacy hype and Dawson, even though they are very different fighters, Dawson is barely any more proven in terms of opposition than Lacy was. It is too brief and says too little, I judged it before reading it based on who provided the link and the puerile nature of said persons posts in relation to this topic.
How is being a boxing fan and not knowing who either Calzaghe or Lacy were ignorance? Erm....what else would you call it? It is not a personal attack but by the very definition of ignorance, that is exactly what you were.
Actually, a lot of people IN America might not know who Floyd is without a hint. Boxing is not high profile here in the States at all.
ok check this out, who did lacy beat before he fought calzaghe? and who did calzgahe fight before lacy that i could've seen here in the states? you probably know, but i jus never heard of them. but if u want to call it ignorance then by all means thats your right.
Nobody? Even in his WBO years he faced something like 6 former world champions. Just because they weren't well-known in the US does not mean they weren't decent opposition.
Dawson is only 26 and he has already won two belts and beat 3 top 5 LHWs. He also beat a really good veteran in the form of Harding. Who has Kessler beat? I'll put Dawson's top 4 wins up against Kessler's.
