I hate Floyd. But I always gave him credit for his performances. I didn't have a problem with him fighting an overmatched Marquez because it was a tuneup fight. I gave him all the credit in the world against Shane. I never complained about him fighting an old Shane because quite frankly, Mosley was coming off a dominating win.

1) Whatever the purpose...he asked Pac to take a simple test, a MUTUALLY applied one. No issue there. Pac insisted on having that test done his way, and nothing else. Hence, there was no fight. MOVE ON. Had Evander Holyfield done the same as Pac, when Tyson asked that he do (non mutually applied) additional (to what the NSAC required) testing, we would not have their legendary second fight to reflect upon.

2) The C/W titles....bull****, IMO. Two pounds for Cotto...UNNECESSARY. He already fought a bigger man at the division limit, in ODLH. Had Cotto been his FIRST bout at 147, I could understand. But, they were clearly seeking to DRAIN Cotto. They asked him to come down to 142, at first! 150 lbs so you can come in at 144....UNNECESSARY. Just fight for the titles at the division limit, and there will be less room for criticism. Floyd fought a more skilled (than Marg) fighter in OLDH, at the 154 lb limit. Is Pac's win at 150 lb more meaningful, IMO? NO. Was it more exciting? YES. But, those two things are not the same.


3) The NSAC (should they fight be in Vegas) has ALREADY said the fighters can use WHATEVER testing they (the fighters) agree to. See Mayweather/Mosley.

4) It's about a particular STYLE he has not faced. Many fighters with that particular style, happen to be African-American.
