That is not down to hometown refs. That is just British refs in general.

He does throw an inordinate amount of arm punchers due to him not planting his feet when throwing his shots and squaring up his feet when moving forward, especially under his pre-Hunter trainers.

Khan has always struck me as someone who's body moves quicker than his mind. It's good to be quick, but you should never rush.

So, what you're saying is that you think Provodnikov is feather fisted?

Because he caugh Algieri with his best bombs, and never really hurt him.

If anything, Algieri's chin is iron.

Who has the kind of power Provodnikov and Pacman do though? Once you've been battered by them back to back facing Khan isn't so daunting.

and did people see the size of algeiri... he was like a light middle weight in there

khan looked tiny.... algeiri was the bigger guy and had a reach advantage

You shouldn't base everything on a single fight. Overall Khan has never been a big puncher. His power is on the lower side of average but he still hits hard enough to drop, hurt and stop people

Khan doesn't have a lot of power at all, the only person I've ever seen him really bumrush was Salita. Many of his stoppages the fights could've continued.

Provodnikov also had Matthysse on shaky legs. It shows the kind of power Provodnikov wields, and he never had Algieri severely hurt to the point he was almost stopped.

Algieri has an iron chin. He's not the best opponent to showcase power on.
