I've never understood people who say they've never understood why Whyte gets attention. He's exciting, acerbic, gutsy, hard hitting, frequently fights top ten/fifteen opponents and has enough vulnerabilities that you're never guaranteed the outcome, whoever he's fighting. Those are the sorts of qualities that are apt to garner one a following of some sort. Aside from one fan who I won't bother to name, no one seriously expected him to challenge either Joshua or Fury. Wilder's a different kettle of fish, and I personally still see that as a competitive fight.
