Nevin and Valdez, what a divergence.

    John Joe Nevin beat Valdez in the 2012 Olympics.

    Both went pro soon after, but in that period JJN has only had 14 fights, never going above regional level, and Valdez is a 2 weight world champion and arguably #1 at 130.

    Coming out of the amateurs, most would have had Nevin as the cant miss prospect.

    Funny how things work out.

    If Nevin was managed properly he'd have been world level
