I am certain that it is Barry making the deals.Eddie is included in the meetings but it is the old man who gives the ultimate approval.:deal

2021 is a long time, I hope they don't keep providing us insults of a PPV like Clev Bellew. Hopefully C5 and ITV increase their boxing coverage as the BBC won't. ITV seem the most promising with Frampton, but realistically they probably won't put enough on to be able to keep Hearn's on their toes and providing quality.

Shows how little the average mug on here knows. For months people have been saying how Sky won't be happy with Hearn's output etc.

The good thing is sky are happy to keep boxing on the agenda at least.....I personally feared a greatly reduced output was in the table.

The downside is that Hearn with the security of a 5 year deal might really take the **** with weak cards even more then he has been over the lay year which is the big worry plus the PPV ****.

As for Joshua being one of the reasons for the long deal I personally think that's BS as Hearn will have him on PPV only after the next few fights

I hope Channel Five and ITV get more involved. ITV feasibly could show Whyte's fights as well as Frampton. As for Channel Five Mick's stable is looking threadbare with the loss of Galahad. He has got Haskins (via Sanigar) who is on the cusp of a world title and is decent to watch. He also has Blackwell who if he beats Ryder could be the star of his stable as he's still young.

Perspective is everything though- the boxing on terrestrial TV is usually never going to match what's on Sky/Boxnation.

    ITV aren't involved. Frampton's team bought air-time. There's a major difference.

Uh oh... Here come the overpriced PPV's!

I actually hate Hearn. He is as fake as the day is long. Now he is going to rinse the public clean!
