Just received the new issue in the mail recently and I have to admit, although I was skeptical when I read about the Ring shakeup last month, this issue has allayed my fears. Top notch boxing writers like Hauser and Borges as well as others and the format is an improvement even though the print is a bit smaller and tougher to read. And, this is a big one, multiple mentions of DeLahoyas past trangressions(Cross dressing). So far so good.:good
The writers for Ring were just phoning it in. I liked Nigel Collins editorials but the rest of the mag was getting weak. Jim Bagg and Ivan Goldman wrote some horrid pieces at times. Haven't seen the new layout, I'll have to look into it. I'm not a fan of Thomas Hauser though. With friends like Hauser boxing doesn't need enemies.
