NEW Aussie Boxing Tipping Comp

What i dont get is the scoring f this years comp.
You and me Robot picked exactly the same as MSTR and Kegsy but yet got 5 points less.

Just wondering how does that work.

I want a Pauline Hanson. PLEASE EXPLAIN.

Haha this year, i have not bothered with checking points or anything, too much hassle with the different scoring system, but maybe we can have a recount if i just miss out on the winning position

 

i missed the first two mrounds anyway. but i was thinking if i had scored 100 in both of those weeks id be on top. LOL. :good

 

Haha, but were you able to still be given points mid table when you entered, or did you start from scratch?

No i forgot to enter the Tipping Comp this year. But still did you see me take it to the Yanks in the College Football Tipping Comp.

Cheers just worked it out. But think its stupid. That people say Stoppage and get the points but if i say TKO i get 5 less cause they didnt use there nuts and give i decision.

 

Mate I might need to read it again but I don't think that's got anything to do with it.

A stoppage is scored the same as KO or TKO.

The higher score is assessed on how close to the correct round you got, whether it be stoppage/TKO/KO..

so what me and Robot dont get 5 points for picking wide UD instead of Close fight which is what MSTR and Kegsy picked.

So if you Pick a Early KO or TKO u get 5 points more.
But if i pick a Wide and someone else picks a Close and a actual TKO occurs we that thought he would win a bit easier than a close dont get a extra 5 points.

System flawed.LOL

 

Boppa, you started mid pack meaning i added up everyones totals and divided by the number of participants. So no you didnt start from 0.:deal

The system is slightly flawed, KO's are heavily favoured over decisions however it seems to be going well... so dont rock the boat:yep

If i screw up anyones scores let me know and i'll fix it pronto.

 

Haha good work mate, how do you watch the college ball here though mate? or do you just read reports about the season?

I like the system this way, the comp is closer this year and i think it is going good.
