That's what agents do. Williams is a throw back fighter.

Seems to do alright with scoring television dates. For me it's not a popularity contest anyway. It's his attitude that makes me a fan.

As you would with Al Heymon in bed with Ross Greenburg.
Look how many TV dates Chris Arreola has got on HBO & how many poor opponents Andre Berto faces every year...i dont think if you stacked all of his fighters on the 1 card (besides Mayweather...he didnt make Mayweather just the finished product) & relied on them for ticket sales, you wouldnt even draw 8 thousand.

Arreola gets tv dates because the division is poor and they were looking for an American answer. I recall you being a bit of a fan in years past. I wouldnt watch Arreola fight if he was doing so in my backyard. I'd be more interested in watching him eat tacos and drink a box of Tecate.

At least Williams turns up in shape and is willng to fight. He's not the smartest fighter going around and that's probably half the appeal.

I was hoping Arreola would one day get in shape & make a run, but that definitely wont ever happen now.:deal
He makes exciting fights, but he is nothing better than a lower level top 15 contender.
You wouldnt watch Arreola...but watch a very poor mans version of him with less stamina in Qld.:hey

One trains and the other doesn't. One attempts to make the most out of his ability, the other admits he drinks too much in the lead up to fights. Each to their own.

Scores for Round 2 of the tipping comp. Just one thing:

IF YOU TIP A DECISION OUTCOME,

I think my score for last weekend was wrong mate. You have given me 30 points for the Chagaev fight when i should have only got 25 as i predicted Chagaev by wide points when he won by close points of scores 77-75, 78-75, 77-76. It was only an 8 rd fight so not sure if this had an effect with regards to the tipping comp. I am very honest and have owned up to this as i want to win the comp and destroy my opposition fair and square.

Thanks Francis. Your chances are excellent this season. Ash has quit and Marcus is at the bottom of the ladder. We need a new hero to rise up to the challenge.

Think I should have scored more for my Chagaev pts close?

If you tip a decision and its a points result you get 25 points.

If you tip wide decision or close decision correctly you get another 5 bonus points. Therefore 25 points in this case is correct as it was a wide decision and you picked a close decision.

But the margins were one point, two points and three points? Wouldn't that be a close decision?
