I have seen the Torres v Cotto fight, and I think Torres was effective because Cotto decided to stand in the pocket with him. He has limited boxing ability and I expect Holt to be too good. That said, Holt chin still has a question mark...
If Holt's chin stays together, he will make quite easy work of Torres. Still tho Torres will have the home advantage of hostile Columbia.:yep
True but Torres is not the puncher he looked in the Cotto fight, so that's something in Holts' favour.
Hometown judges too apparently. I have also heard from certain sources that Joey Johns has asked him to break his training schedule to run a couple of errands. Something about him wanting to have enough coke to make a map of Australia. Unconfirmed at this point in time.
I have laid some $$$ on Holt to win, so hopefully he doesnt let me down, last time i bet on boxing i won $70 on Vernon when he beat Baldomir. But i have lost a couple of bets on the footyatsch
Kendall Holt points Victor Oganov ko Anton Solopov points Mzonke Fana points Yutaka Niida points joker
Ricardo Torres ko Victor Oganov ko *joker* Daniel Dawson ud Javier Osvaldo Alvarez points Yutaka Niida ud
AFL is killing me. I bet $9k on a 1-39 point spread in the winning margin in the Sydney vs Brisbane game and is was a draw. It didn't matter who won as i covered both sides but the outcome of a draw was painful. I had the right idea but lost the cash that night. Bugger! I have cash on Holt, unless he end up on the floor seeing stars he will easily outbox Torres IMO. I put a small bet on Carlton (that was a lot more speculative)
Damn that sucks man, hope you made some money back then. Yeh i got $200 on Holt, put $15 on the Dogs tonight, we were coming back but lost.

Interesting one this week in that I am the only one tipping Zuniga. Now that I know this strategically it would be possibly in my interest to change my tip to Oganov so I make sure I can't lose ground in the tipping competition relative to those that are just behind me. This might suggest that their is a moral hazard in the nature of our tipping competition because similarly I could have deliberately chosen Zunia to make up ground on those in front of me. I am going to stick with my tip because it would be wrong to change it and how sweet it would be if Zuniga did actually stay on his feet and fight a smart fight against Oganov (not that I think that is likely)
