To be overrated you have to be rated highly by some people. I don't think anyone who follows boxing closely rates Chavez Jr as anything special. He has basically fought rubbish opponents his whole career. Lets see him fight the top guys at 160 in Martinez, Williams, Sturm etc and he would be soundly beaten.
