    It is a disgrace. It was a decision that was nowhere near close enough for a generous fan of Williams to have scored it for him. The only way to explain it is to call it corruption of officials. People must have be paid to deliver those scores.

    They had 3 very inexperienced judges from New Jersey & it sure did show.
    I agree corruption is the only answer to this mess.

    That is still no excuse. Even the biggest idiot on these boards would have scored the fight to Lara. Boxing has always and will always be run by crooks and dodgy individuals.

    It's not just boxing. Unfortunately the world is run by Shonks, Sharks and Spivs.
    FIFA the IOC , Rupert Murdoch, Clive Palmer, Nathan Tinkler, Vladimir Putin , Dick Chaney. Just a few that come to mind on an endless list.

    Many more solid matchups over the wkend including Rafael Marquez staying busy on the undercard of older brother Juan Manuel's bout, as well as power punching Roman Gonzalez defending his WBA Light Flyweight Title against Omar Salado.
    The TV coverage could be on HBO Latino or a Showtime affiliate in USA depending on the outcome of who will televise Pacquiao-Marquez III & Cotto-Margarito II which should be announced in the next 24 hours.
