Agree completely, this is what I was trying to say. That he is world class for the current division, although historically he would not have been. The Donald win was a decent one for Povetkin, as he is not a great fighter but still a good one, under rated by most.

Tough one to call. I honestly don't know at this point, because I haven't seen Byrd in action recently. I will get back to you after this weekends fight. Probably Brock at the moment, although he would need to keep his work rate up, which he sometimes doesn't do.

the thing i still dont get about this tournament thingy the ibf has come up with is that if Brock or Byrd win then they face Wlad. Both have had the living **** beaten out them by Dr Steelhammer and i think a rematch would yield similar results. It seems a bit of a joke that there is a 50% chance Wlad will face a guy who he has already thumped (twice in the case of Byrd i believe). I would hate to see the Boxing Banker eat another on of Wlad's big shots :|

 

I wish Brock dedicated himself fulltime to boxing, he has more potential, could be up their with Chagaev and Wlad if he gets it together.

i think if he improved his conditioning and worked a little on his speed he would be a bit threat in the division. As far as ring smarts go the guy is right up there - he fought very cleverly against Wlad in the early rounds and worked magic to come off the canvas and beat McCline.
